What is the Freightinsure cover?

An excess-free insurance solution designed to cover goods against loss or damage during transit up to the value of $50,000

How does it work?

You add insurance to your consignment when booking your freight. Simply tick the box, fill out some further details, and you’re covered

What happens if my goods are lost or damaged?

If your goods are lost or damaged during transit, notify Deliver via email or phone. They will then provide you with a digital claim form link to complete with the necessary details of the incident.

What supporting evidence is needed to make a claim?

  • Invoices to support the value of the goods

  • Evidence of damage (If relevant)

  • Dated evidence of Damage/loss notification

How much am I covered for?

You can choose to cover your goods up to $50,000 per consignment. This protects against loss or damage during transit.

How long do claims take?

The process is quick! Claim lodgement to payment is often under 5 days. If all information is provided upon claim submission, you can contact FreightSafe at any time for an update

Are there timeframes associated with claims?

Yes!

  • Notify Deliver within 1 business day from delivery for damage incurred to parcels with a clean POD

  • Notify Deliver within 7 days of delivery for damage incurred with a marked POD

  • If your delivery has not shown up, notify Deliver within 14 business days from ETA
